1. Zero Tolerance Commitment

Children and young participants have an absolute right to physical, emotional, and psychological safety. Jnanakoota Foundation maintains zero tolerance for abuse, harassment, exploitation, or discrimination in any form across all interactive workshops.

2. Facilitator & Volunteer Code of Conduct

All Foundation trainers, co-facilitators, and volunteers undergo background screening and mandatory safeguarding orientation prior to school visits.

  • Facilitators must maintain professional boundaries at all times.
  • No facilitator may interact with students in isolated or unmonitored private settings.
  • No personal contact information or social media handles may be solicited from minor students.
  • Photographing students requires explicit institutional and parental consent.

3. Institutional Workshop Protocols

All school-based workshops (including Nane Nanna Shilpi and School Kit Distribution drives) are conducted in open classroom environments with school teachers or institutional representatives present throughout the session.

4. Incident Reporting & Escalation

Any concern regarding student safety, distress, or facilitator misconduct must be reported immediately to our designated Safeguarding Desk at jnanakoota@gmail.com. All disclosures are treated with strict confidentiality and prompt institutional escalation.
